Austin and Rosa's October wedding at Resurrection Catholic Church in Lakeland, FL was a beautiful celebration of their love and commitment. It was everything all rolled into a few moments in time. Laughter, tears, joy, more laughter! The reception that evening was everything they could have wished for at the gorgeous Lone Palm Golf & Country Club.
Edward Medard Conservation Park just south of Plant City, FL was the location for Ragdah & Victor’s fall engagement session. This park is absolutely chock full of gorgeous locations from a wonderful wooden bridge crossing a slough leading out to the old mining pits to the hills and exposed roots of the giant old live oak trees. There are miles of trails to explore and even an observation tower. Limitless places for the perfect engagement session!
Saturday, September 17th was the sweetest of days at The Sorosis Building on Lake Morton in downtown Lakeland, FL. I adore this venue here in Lakeland. Everything form the gleaming hardwood floors, to the tall ceilings, wrought iron and brick fencing, and that gorgeous, gorgeous fireplace in the front room with the giant mantle that is just begging for photos and flowers to adorn it! Such a perfect location for personalization! And the lighting and locations for wedding photography are unbeatable!
Bonnet Springs Park is a brand new 168 acre park that just opened on the west side of downtown Lakeland, FL. The place has quickly become a go to favorite for my family to explore and wander around outside in the gorgeous fall weather we’ve been having lately. Super easy to grab an ice cream cone and walk all the lovely paths and boardwalks the sprawling park offers. There’s even a rooftop bar over looking the large lawn area where there are always families throwing footballs and frisbees around. Perfect place to grab a cold libation and watch the world be active on the grass below.
Such a blessing as a Lakeland area wedding photographer to photograph the absolute sweetest backyard micro wedding of The Durhams at a local Airbnb here in Lakeland, FL. The sweetest group of friends and family surrounded Dawn & Harry as they exchanged their wedding vows over looking a gorgeous lake and blueberry farm here in Central Florida. There were touches of Disney magic and whimsey on display in everything from the colorful Lilo & Stitch inspired wedding cake to the custom made wedding sign designed with Mickey Mouse Bottle openers….just adorable!
