Capturing Love at Florida Southern College: Chelsea & Zack's Engagement Session
So much laughter the day I met this lovely couple! It started the moment the two sweeties walked towards me and I was still laughing when I hopped in my car to leave! As a Lakeland wedding photographer, I have witnessed countless love stories unfold before my lens. But there was something about Chelsea and Zack's story that tugged at my heartstrings. They met almost 9 years ago in high school and have grown up together, starting as friends and falling in love. And now, as they prepare to tie the knot in September at Town Manor on The Lake in Auburndale, I had the privilege of capturing their engagement session on the stunning campus of Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL.
A Storied Campus
Before we delve into the beauty of Chelsea and Zack's love story, let's take a moment to appreciate the history of Florida Southern College. Established in 1883, this campus boasts stunning architecture that has earned it the distinction of being the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in the world. From the iconic Annie Pfeiffer Chapel to the serene Water Dome, Florida Southern College is a photographer's paradise and one of my favorite places to photograph sessions.
Love, Friendship, and Happily-ever-after
Chelsea and Zack's love story began when they were just teenagers in high school. They started out as friends, but as time passed, they began to see each other in a new light. They have grown up together, and in many ways, their love has grown alongside them. As I photographed them on the Florida Southern College campus, it was clear to me that their connection runs deep. They are so alike and so different, and yet, they complement each other perfectly.
The Perfect Venue:The Manor on Lake Juliana
As we walked around the campus, I couldn't help but imagine how stunning their wedding will be at The Manor on Lake Juliana in Auburndale. This waterfront venue is known for its picturesque scenery and elegant facilities. I could already picture Chelsea and Zack exchanging vows under the Florida sun, in front of the gorgeous white gazebo, surrounded by their loved ones.
Capturing Memories
As a Central Florida area wedding photographer, I am passionate about capturing the moments that matter. And for Chelsea and Zack, this engagement session was certainly one of those moments. From the way they looked at each other to the way they laughed together, every shot was filled with the love and joy they share.
