Joe and Cher could have written the book on how to have the most gorgeous, romantic elopement at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales, FL. So much WOW in all their little details and the love between the two of them was almost visible in the air every time they looked at each other. Plus, they absolutely looked like classic movie stars from the 1950's.....so stunning!
Camil & Garrett and their sweet, joyful Haines City wedding were hands down the highlight of my August! Back in April I photographed Camil's sister's wedding at the gorgeous Town Manor on the Lake. When Camil got in touch with me to photograph her wedding, I was completely on board! The family is just that AWESOME!
This was a love story that began eight years ago when the two were in high school and blossomed into a grown-up fairytale. The beautiful couple was certainly one of the most kind couples I have had the pleasure of working with. Garrett cherishes Camil to no end and shows it in every possible way he can while Camil adores Garrett and everything about him! They are so perfect together and I am so thankful they chose me to photograph their lovely wedding day!

You’ve gotten engaged, chosen the perfect venue and probably have some other big decisions already made for your wedding day. You have selected a photographer that your super excited to work with and who’s style you adore, but you just aren’t sure about the included engagement session. More likely, YOUR fiance’ isn’t sure about the engagement session! I know, I know, I hear it all the time!! :) After all, you’ll have plenty of pictures of the two of you from your wedding day, right? While it is true that you should have a good amount of photos from your wedding day, here are a few reasons why I think an engagement session is a fantastic idea. In fact, I include them in some of my wedding packages because I believe it’s THAT important!
There is something particularly magical about paring your guest list down to only the people that are closest to you. These are your cheerleaders, your confidantes, the people that wish you only joy and that energy permeates a wedding day and allows the couple to focus on their love and the love of those surrounding them. Micro weddings, when planned correctly can be a low stress, laid back affair and a fantastic way to start off married life together! So happy these sweethearts chose such a wonderful way to tie the knot!
Such a perfect, perfect day photographing the wedding of Leanne & Zachary at the gorgeous https://www.eaglebrooke.com/. Absolutely adored being part of their sweet day. What I love about Leanne and Zachary is that their hearts radiate JOY. Every step together is steeped in deep happiness and endless contentment, and I just LOVE them for it! Their romance started way back in eighth grade when they met at a poetry competition. That poetry carried over all the way into their emotional wedding ceremony at https://www.shepherdroad.com/ where there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the two read their personal vows to each other.
From the church, we all headed over to The Club at Eaglebrooke here in Lakeland, FL, where I continued photographing their gorgeous wedding out on the greens, When the formal photos were all done, the sweethearts headed inside for a fun and laughter filled reception hosted by Chris Grainger of https://www.graingertainment.com/
